LELYSTAD, March 2009 – This year Donkervoort Events will host a new team occupation and expand on existing enterprises. Donkervoort Events, founded in 2005, turned out to be a great success.  The amount of events quickly grew to an average of two per week. And after 3 years, there appears to be enough grounds to expand the Donkervoort Events team and its product spectrum.

NEW TEAM
Before giving you an impression of our latest products, first a little introduction of our new team members:
- Bert van den Dool
Bert is a well-known Dutch actor and TV-host of car-related programs. A charismatic car lover, who will accompany and entertain you throughout the factory tours. Furthermore, Bert is partly responsible for the acquisition.
- Gerhard Flantua
Gerhard is a former Michelin-star restaurateur and price winner of, among others, the title ‘Most Remarkable Hospitality Entrepreneur of Flevoland 2007‘. With his beautiful restaurant at Lelystad Airport, Gerhard takes care of the lunches, dinners and beverages.
- Mark Maaskant
Mark is a rally and race virtuoso with his drivers training institute in Lelystad. He is responsible for the instructions and guidance during the Donkervoort Driving Experiences.
- Amber Donkervoort
Amber is the daughter of Joop Donkervoort. She has a wide international automotive experience. She last worked for German Design & Engineering company EDAG in China. Amber is responsible for the entire organization and operations within Donkervoort Events.

Together, this strong team will host memorable events for companies and their relations, whether it's at the factory, behind the steering wheel or culinary.

NEW IN 2009
Whilst Donkervoort Events has retained certain successful items, a number of new products have been added to the list.

DONKERVOORT FACTORY EXPERIENCE
The GT4 racing department and composite department have been added to the Factory Experience. The composite department is responsible for manufacturing some of the lightest and strongest materials known to man. Bert van den Dool will introduce you to the men and processes behind the Donkervoort production facilities. In addition to the factory tours we offer the possibility to call upon guest speakers to give you an insight into e.g. racing in the FIA GT4 European Cup including race techniques, Design & Engineering and how the D8GT came into existence or the composite department and its refined production techniques.

DONKERVOORT DRIVING EXPERIENCE
Unimaginable but now possible: crawl behind the wheel of a Donkervoort and drive it at the race track! The existing Driving Experience will be expanded with the possibility to personally drive a Donkervoort. There is even the possibility to add the element of competition!

DONKERVOORT RACING EXPERIENCE
After the success of season 2008, Donkervoort will again be participating in the new FIA GT4 European Cup. These GT race series are organized by the FIA, the organization responsible for the Formula 1 races. With three D8GT’s, Donkervoort Racing will compete against the upper class in racing, with cars brands such as Porsche, Aston Martin and Maserati.

This event provides you the opportunity to be in front of the action during the races. Experience this event at close quarters! You will be welcomed at the paddock of one of the famous European race tracks. Via radio contact you will be able to keep up with the races and strategies of the Donkervoort Racing team, as a real team insider. Experience the tension and excitement during the races and share experiences with the race drivers in the Donkervoort hospitality trailer afterwards.

DONKERVOORT ON LOCATION
A Donkervoort Experience at your own location. Surprise or inspire your relations during one of your own events with a Donkervoort demonstration/presentation. Many varieties are possible.

DONKERVOORT MEDITERRANEAN EXPERIENCE
Your seminars, product presentations, etc. presented in an entirely different setting? Donkervoort Events has created the possibility to organize events, such as a trip through the Alps of the south of France, varied with spectacular rides in your ‘own’ Donkervoort. And what would you say of a Mediterranean Sea-trip in combination with an Osprey-yacht?
